misterC, what a very interesting post, I can see where Money Laundering may be happening and which group of persons, here in South Western Sydney where duplexes and larger apartment blocks are being built, the Financing is not from Major banks but from Private lenders obscure ones, I doubt the developers/builders have the Credit Ratings to get construction Finance lower than 9% , it would not surprise me if Money Laundering is being used to get the construction work going
