kingpins, Thanks for your comments, Im 52 years old here in Sydney`s western suburbs, the biggest issue started in the late 1980`s and early 90`s when Teachers and the education mafia said to students " go to Uni and get a good white collar job", here in NSW we have had an oversupply of Law Graduates for over 25 years, we don`t need anymore Law, Accounting or Journalism Graduates. your comment regarding Tafe has merit. Some of the overseas Tradespeople whilst hardworking are not properly qualified, when here in Sydney you get 2 migrants from Iraq who have been here in Australia and used to drive Taxis do a 6 months course and become Licensed Builders we a problem and no they did not have degrees in Civil Engineering Architecture or Building nor do a 4 year proper apprenticeship.
