Gee mate, the guy I use charges $100 ph (cash)!! He and his son hooked up my water tank one Saturday morning. Took them just under 5 hours and cost me $1,000, materials cost would have been minimal.
My mate is a sparkie and he charges $75 ph.
Reckon all of the NSW/Sydney tradies should migrate South for a while to bring our rates under control.
Don't get me wrong - anyone with a trade deserves whatever the market will pay.
