The debate about manipulation vs poor investor sentiment post JORC can go on forever. Any claims that there is or isn't manipulation going on really can't be or haven't been proven either way despite claims to the contrary. This never ending discussion does nothing to improve confidence in CDU.

Investors need to consider what they think the value of CDU really is and compare that with what it is currently trading at.

If investors think that the echonomics of the initial 30Mt look good and they are confident that the cash for mine development will be forthcoming on reasonable terms and that the mining approval will be granted, then the stock might look like a very cheap buy.

If you think that the risks of getting to the point that the ore will come out of the ground are too large, or you are a contrarian on the subject of the market price for copper, or you just don't believe anyhting WM says then any price is too much and you won't be buying and would most like have already sold if you ever had any.

The point being that to a large extent it doesn't matter why the price is what it is. You can buy it at current prices so just decide if the risk / reward potential looks good or not. Theories that try and second guess the price are nothing but a distraction because they tend to go nowhere and do nothing but raise fear.
