If people want to take this game so seriously then there is an obligation to look to fairer umpiring decisions using technology ..... i.e. the third umpire. This series had some pretty crook decisions.
It's not all that bad to lose the ashes after 18 years but Australia is still no 1 and need to do a bit of soul searching with their selections. We have plenty of talented younger players.
Australians have also been instrumental in showing England how to improve their standing. We've been training their players for years and it has now paid off. When we were dominant in swimming in the 50's we did the same thing.
