they had the momentum and somehow lost it for whatever reason. my perception is that they got a little complacent at the wrong time and it just slipped away from them. now we pay for it as it'll be a grind to get back to ATHs. theyre trying to recover it but the damage has been done. CTM is damaged goods in the short term
