"pushes towards non-nickel chemistries for BEVs" - this is a point I raised on here a long time ago when I sold out of CTM as it dipped below the long-term trend line around $1.40 but was shouted down by the true believers.
It's reality even now, and even more likely to have an impact as battery technologies rapidly evolve between now and when CTM will be mining. Ignore this at your peril. Yes, even Tesla is moving to safer LFP battery technology.
I now own an EV. It doesn't have any nickel in the batteries. QED.
