Its a fairly long read, and also a translation from Portuguese to English, but I think it gets across what CTM had proposed in their updated Economic Exploitation Plan lodged on March 30 2023. Tailings Dam failure was obviously the main contentious item with this project. And given the recent failures by Vale and BHP, you can see why the Brazil authorities are concerned about tailings dam failure especially for a Nickel tailings dam.

Based on the response from ANM, it seems like CTM, in their updated Economic Plan (which ran to hundreds of pages), they asked for 5 easement concessions on the areas outside of the Jag project area.

1. water pipeline to the NW corner of the Jag project area (presumably to allow the lap pool to happen......effectively linking the new areas to the NW of Jag),
2. new road north of the Jag tenement on Vale's land
3. Onca Preta pit shell being close to the north boundary,
4. tailings dam on the Vale land to the east of the Jag boundary
5. Jag south pit shell being close to the east Jag boundary.

ANM has suggested that only items 1, 2 and 4 are included as easements on the enviro permit, not the mining pits.

Once the revised application for easements 1, 2 & 4 has been done and lodged by CTM with ANM, then ANM will approve that the Draft Mining License be allowed.

CTM appear to have lodged this subsequent document on June 2 2023. It does not appear that CTM has received a formal approval for this as yet.

But Flash did say that he expects the enviro approval by end of Q3 (September 2023)...so it looks like all community consultation has been done and all issues have been resolved before this correspondence.
