The LME trying to polish a turd here.
It doesn't say whether many, or any, of the Indonesian Nickel companies are passing the ESG passport. Disclosing on the platform doesn't automatically mean you're passing.
But probably the major thing is that the platform is still being improved....which is a euphemism for....we're not up to scratch (yet 216 brands are disclosing - good or bad).
LME is owned by the Chinese.
