Looks like the Indonesian government is cracking down on illegal mining. It seems only to affect the state owned miner (Antam) producing more than their annual quota.
No mention of this illegal activity being done by the Chinese miners.
Everything here indicates that Ni price should be through the roof...they are up in recent weeks, but not as much as you would think (or hope).
Let's hope this turns into a full on probe into much more than merely quotas being exceeded.
