I remember a while back Tata Steel took in a small stake (~$200-400m correct me if I?m wrong) for RIV shares (paying a pretty good premium) to help RIV finance their exploration program, and have not look back since, and in fact continue to finance RIV similar that on EDF to increase their holdings. The fruition is a ~500% increase on their initial investments.
If the Indian are approaching, I hope it?s a state owed consortium or a steel maker. I personally think it?s the Botswana resource that?s going to propel CCC to new highs, that?s the reason why I?m reluctant to trade CCC due to this X factor.
