Just another note, the share is trading regardless of what DOW or All Ords are doing right now. All Ords had a huge run today, but AVX got sold down, due to profit taking and the previous points I noted.
As for takeover, I think this will eventually happen, no doubt about it, the question is when?
IMO, takeover won't happen until the dust has settled for the rights issue and business return to normal. Don't forget AVX is aiming at 2010 for first production, so it's another 2-3 years to reach the full SP valuation. Large pharma is watching but they don't have to rush to AVX as yet.
Takeover may not happen for at least 3-6 months time.
I look back at Vision System and Progen Industries and see some similar patterns.
Have a look at PGL and you'll find some trading pattern that may be useful for AVX
If you missed out buying don't panic, there are still great buying opportunities ahead.
Ready to buy more when the SP is around 75c range.
