Thanks for that Aksier. One of the best posts I have come across on HC.

You have been a fave of mine for a while now. My question is regarding how long you hold onto a trade that has turned pear shaped.

I have a few stocks I currently hold which given some more time will turn around but I managed to buy into them on a rally thinking they would going to go further up only for them to drop 10-20% from my buy price.

Whilst not kidding myself that I could become a day trader, the discipline is the thing which would be most beneficial for me. I am trying to get a grips on TA as well at the moment to better refine when to enter a stock.
