Dont know about anyone else (too many posts) but the perfect combination is to have a job that lets you trade.
This way you are not reliant on income from trading and trading gives you a oulet during the day from your job.
Only problem is everyone knows by your mood if you are making or loosing. The other problem is everyone just wants to sponge all the good tips off you.
