I hope yr right regarding the goldies... definitely hope to learn a thing or to about trading going forward. Will also check out Cara's blog - thanks for the tip.

Private jobs data. Now - note that a lot of goldies are getting hit this morning along with the rest of the market. So far there is no evidence of the goldies decoupling from the rest of the market. They have indeed outperformed - but I assume that's because most of them are small cap stocks - the dips we should expect to be correspondingly greater in percentage terms as well.
What I would love to know - if anyone knows how to know in advance when the data is going to hit. Because it seems prudent to trade at the moment under the expectation that no news is good news - and sell prior to the data reports which almost all are bad at the moment and cause market sell-offs.
