That's exactly what happened, I think. It's happened a few times now.
Ironically, I thought I bought in at the bottom at $6.50. I was right as far the sentiment went but very wrong about the bottom as far as the price goes.
I would bet a large sum that the institutions knew this was coming, not the exact price but that it would be much lower than $6.50. It must be easy to make big money by being in the know.
