ASX MARKET RELEASE

The securities of Adultshop.com Limited (the "Company") will be
placed in pre-open at the request of the Company, pending the release
of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the
securities will remain in pre-open until the earlier of the
commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 4 September 2002 or
when the announcement is released to the market.

TRADING HALT REQUEST

AdultShop.com Ltd hereby seeks a trading halt for the period up to
close of trading on Tuesday, 3 September 2001. The Company is
finalising the preparation and lodgement of its Appendix 4B,
Preliminary Final Results and will also be making an announcement
with respect to its previously projected results for the six month
period ending 31 December 2002.

The Company expects that it will be in a position to make an
announcement before commencement of trading on Wednesday,
4 September 2002.

The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should
not be granted.
