I suspect you have hit the nail on the head, js201copper. I just re-read the BSM announcement of 20/8/2008 concerning the JV with VMS, and also having looked into them I would say the time has probably come for BSM to either stump up cash to maintain their 30% interest or else reduce to 10% free-carried. From the look of VMS's announcements it looks to me as if BSM would want a piece of their action going forward. At the time I thought nothing would ever come of this JV. How wrong could I be. If this is the reason for the raising then I think it will go down well.
