Fat Prophets seem to think the JV partners will push ahead with Neon and drill elsewhere. Here is a snipet of what they just emailed out:

"Data from the well did however confirm the existence of a petroleum system in Block 105. It is therefore quite possible that the JV partners will push ahead with their exploration strategy in this block. The update today from Neon Energy has been very disappointing as reflected in today’s severe share price fall. There does however remain the potential for exploration activities to spread elsewhere in the highly prospective blocks in Vietnam. We therefore advise Members to continue holding Neon Energy."
