These statements give away your ignorance. The strength on open is manufactured by the heavy weights who want to off-load their stock at a price above the issue price, because they know the stock is going lower. The 'no-ones without brains' sold throughout the day because they could see it was going down.
The "hysterical" selling, as you call it, today simply followed the hysterical buying in the past week
IF you are trading the stock, selling in the short-term after a cap raise is what I call a 'no-brainer'.
Will it bounce tomorrow? Maybe. Will you feel better if it does ..yes. Will I feel worse for selling today if it does bounce tomorrow....nah,.
