To me the skewed buy/sell spread just means that the vast majority of holders believe that the well will deliver success and are lining up to take profits on the announcement.
No one reckons that the well is a duster because there are so few buyers lining up at duster prices.
Once the announcement is made, regardless of its content, the spread will change also.
