I read the $100m as a maximum net claim on a worst case senario basis on a disaster who's extent was unknown when the market update was penned.
IAG put a figure on Yasi at $125m in their release, and stated it was a maximum claim under their reissurance program.
I would be surprised in Yasi cost QBE anything like $100m.
