Jamiejon - The cost in trading CFD's is the cost of the spread x volume. Eg - 2000 x 1 cent = $20. I deal through Rivkin Securities and there is an additional $10 charge per trade. You need to have margin of 5% of the value of the trade as security. As long as you get the direction right the trade is profitable. Beware it is just as easy to lose a lot as it is to make so make sure your risk on every trade fits your trading bank.
