    Sorry, but I don't understand why you are puzzling about the intention of this equity offering. It's all clearly stated in the announcement OceanaGold Announces Equity Offering.

    Quoted from the announcement:
    "The net proceeds of the Offering and the Private Placement [...], will be used to fund the restructure of the Company's existing gold hedging facilities. [...]"
