Very interesting though...Are WPL now comfortable if HDR are taken out, possibly by a big company with greater cash capacity?
Perhaps someone who is not so desperate to develop difficult acreages such as Tiof? HDR want to develop as soon as possible.
Woodside have so much on their plate at the moment, they need to prioritise their developments...they probably could also do with the cash that the sale would bring
I think after a possible negative shock from WPL disposing of their shares we will then start to see a real takeover premium come into HDR's share price.
