TNG shareholders were treated so poorly by previous mgt that GW is now viewed as the messiah because he communicates with them and has restored some order to what was a absolute dumpster fire.
GW talks a very big game (all of which he intends to put in place within 3 yrs after which he has other priorities that cannot be changed, my bet is he has political aspirations).
SH are lapping it up in spades.
Watch any webinar incl the AGM GW is not shy about taking a swipe at every competitor inferring they are less transparent, inferior and a little dodgy, all the while beating his own chest about
* his position in the world of finance (paraphrased from AGM "no one in Aust knows more about finance than me"),
* his ties to country having been born in the Territory,
* his Fundie history and frenetic NYC pace of work (which frankly surely cannot be sustainable for the TVN team),
* his black book of contacts that "no one else can get access to" and
* the quality of his board (notable ones are academics).

All GWs chest beating I see as isolating TVN from their peers and to a degree you need "friends" in this game.

GW has achieved much in a short space of time:
* the purchase of Speewah was a hail mary play and one must question why such a "nationally significant asset" as GW has declared it was sold off so cheaply by KKR (comments on low grade and cost of high strip ratio explain much of this),
* governance which was non existent under prior mgt ,
* some tech deals with CSRIO and the local indigenous orgs.
much of this is insular to the company and largely where GW has a position of power in the transaction

How dynamic GW and TVN "dream team" really are when it comes time for TVN to bring in partners with $$$$ and GW is not the most important person at the table.

The CEO of another Australian critical materials player having put all the key components in place to only not reach a suitable outcome recently said "you cannot control your partners" true words.

The words of Casey Stoner to Rossi come to mind after being taken out by a bold Rossi move "your ambition was greater than your ability".
Time will tell.

I don’t think GW and his so called academic team are losing any sleep over your diatribe. I find it fascinating how those with no skin in the game have such heightened views and all with no balance but sheer criticism.

I would certainly back any Chairman and board that do have skin in the game and a company that is looking to align shareholder outcomes with KPIs of Board and management. I don’t think any executive that holds circa 26m of fully paid shares funded by personal wealth is there to squander ones investment.

Hope you are some big ass GM or CEO because you talk a big game but do so by comfortably hiding behind pseudonyms.

Happy to engage in constructive debate and to challenge the pathway. Considered and educated dialogue is engaging. I would rather listen to academics and technical leaders in the sector as compared to uneducated clit bait posters. I would refer the latter to the SRN forum.

Let’s see how things play out. Time will tell and be the ultimate judgement.
