The only talk ALS would bother entering into from here would be a higher price.
With only a few days remaining til offer close date, there isn’t exactly much time for shareholders to be made aware of and act on any revised offer- so my guess is extension plus increased offer if the rules allow for both of these.
As for discussions, if I were ALS or DLX I would be saving all my breath and lunch money for the top 20 holders- their holding is where the critical balance will sway.
For anyone not already holding a position, taking a punt from here is as good as flipping a coin IMO
