trading halt thoughts

Since I posted my response to SP's post last night I have given more thought to the takeover proposition. Unless further drilling has hit a jackpot strike, yet to be announced, it would seem to me to be somewhat early in the game for a large company like Gold Fields to be making a takeover offer prior to the proving up of a much larger resource than has already been announced. I wouldn't think they would do so purely on speculation on what there may be in a promising area. Just MHO of course! I also agree with those against a takeover at this stage. A lot more to be made yet before that happens.
