Request for Trading Halt
Virgin Blue Holdings Limited (Virgin Blue) requests a trading halt in the ordinary shares of Virgin Blue (ASX Code: VBA) to apply from the commencement of trading on Monday, 13 July 2009.
The trading halt is requested pending an announcement responding to media speculation.
Virgin Blue requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 15 July 2009 or when an announcement concerning its response to media speculation is released to the market.
Virgin Blue is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
