I think someone said 'hey vincent, what do you think about that article?' and he said 'yeh looks like they used a pic of the lowest quality stones .. yada yada'.

That doesn't mean he actually confirmed anything .. I don't think anyone asked him to confirm that it was an actual image of stones at the auction. It's likely he didn't bother considering whether the pic was real or not.

Either way, it's all going to be out tomorrow .. hold on to your hats lads, it's going to be a wild ride I think.
