20% clearance you say? It's a closed auction bid, usually with no reserves set. You do know what that means? It means, let's say worst case scenario that gems are dog shlt, but obviously are better than commercial grade, well people will still place bids - just lower ones. So instead of paying or bidding on average $60USD/carat they may put forward low ball offers like 30-40USD/carat and try their luck! IF interest is really that low, then they'll get lucky and scoop up some buys, but you honestly can't be serious about a 20% clearance. And that 500,000k some are quoting? Mate the special rubies alone are worth close to that! Get a grip
