Lakota, the reason why nothing was attached from MUS is because the trading halt was called by the ASX, not the company, as is usually the case.
In this instance, the ASX issued a speeding ticket and obviously didn't get a prompt answer, so suspended the company pending their response.
Why they didn't answer is as much a mystery as to every other aspect of the last 3 or 4 days.
Simple answers are usually the most accurate, so possibly the MUS crew had absolutely no idea of the extent of the hysteria being built up on HC over the weekend, the articles and tweets, and given time differences and their need to put their energies into the auction, they probably had no idea of the subsequent share price mauling.
The size of the retail investor component and hype surrounding this company was always a powder keg waiting for a reason to go off.
I'd be surprised if you get a response tomorrow as response to the speeding ticket will need to be very accurate and probably need a lawyer to look over it.
In my opinion, the auction result will neither disappoint nor overly inspire.
But the market roller coaster will continue.
A traders dream.

I have very rarely seen a speeding ticket not responded to by the company , normally with a no idea answer . So this is a surprise why MUS has not replied and you may well be right for the reasons why.
Cheers.
