Looks like it could be a decent announcement, encouraging in the fact these guys arent trigger happy with calling trading halts as this is only the 2nd for 2009 calender year - last one was in relation to positive results out of Mt Thirsty where FIS & BAR both had a reasonble run following the halt.
Marius Cloopers stated the other day BHP were'nt really looking at at doing any more take outs, and then did a buyout of UMC which lays adjacent to their Area C Mine.
One would think with a decent strike at Vulcan, they wont be able to resist considering infrastructure and current expansion of Olympic Dam.
If this turns out to be the case, next test for Solomon & his mates will be how well they can promote the real estate!
