Newcrest Mining may soon announce a partner for its O'Callaghans tungsten project. The deposit is close to its Telfer goldmine in Western Australia, where a site visit will take place in early October 2010. Newcrest has been in discussion with possible partners but plans to retain a stake in the project.
The tungsten market will come into the spotlight when NCM start throwing around numbers to what O'Callaghans is worth.
