can see us finishing back at todays highs and testing 20c possibly tomorrow...great news once again. As this sinks in that this stock is getting better and better we will start a major rerate.

Eden Energy (EDE) ? Another Jump Back Up?

My prediction in a post made earlier this week of a major re-rating for Eden Energy (EDE) didn?t come to pass unfortunately. Major global events took charge and like almost all listed stocks on the ASX, Eden Energy got sold off instead as risk aversion made a strong comeback.

The above chart shows the strong open on Thursday morning at 18.5c and a new high of 19c was made soon after, but the profit takers took charge from there on, and the stock close at 14c. On Friday, the stock price began trading at 13c and actually closed higher after an initial sell off.

The resulting chart, after the close of trading on Friday, shows a spinning top candle pattern. That suggests that there may still be a major re-rating in the near future as it suggest a possible reversal after Thursday?s sell off. The fundamental news backing up this company is very strong in my opinion and as I said in my previous post ? a major re-rating is overdue.

I still hold that view so we?ll have to wait and see how the stock trades next week. This BRR interview with the Executive Chairman, Greg Solomon is worth listening to.
