Spoke to the company briefly this morning to clarify what announcement, by whom, the trading halt is waiting for.
The trading halt is awaiting an announcement from/by Kalahari. Due to public holidays in the UK this is not expected until Tuesday UK time, which is after trading closes in Australia on Tuesday. Therefore the trading halt is expected to last until Wednesday morning for the ASX.
Hope that clears things up. There was some confusion in my own mind as to whether the trading halt was for some other announcement, eg the expected ASIC decision on downstream acquisition, which could be released today. This was my own guess, but appears to be incorrect.
So looks like a two day holiday away from the screen is called for...
