BEACH REQUESTS TRADING HALT
In accordance with listing rule 17.1, Beach Energy Limited (ASX: BPT, ?Beach?) requests a trading halt pending an announcement to the market concerning the initial flow results from its shale gas well, Holdfast -1.
It requests that the trading halt end on the earlier of an announcement concerning the above or the commencement of normal trading on Tuesday 12 July 2011.
Beach is not aware of any reason that a trading halt should not be granted.
