I'm with you opel24v (interesting nic), it would be more important to a) hopefully get the total backing of Telstra in relation to the trial and the statistical success as a business model and b). hopefully good terms of a National rollout.
As far as number of units go, any successful outcome will take care of the numbers game.

Now lets just wait and see if the announcement is a positive one.
