Austin Exploration Limited (‘AKK’) requests an immediate trading halt on its securities till before start
of trading on 24 January 2012 pending the release of an announcement concerning a placement to
sophisticated investors under the 15% Rule.
AKK is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted by the ASX. The Company is
in compliance with the Listing Rules of the ASX, and in particular Listing Rule 3.1.
