No idea...annoyed the 'letter of request' wasn't included in the announcement as well as it usually gives an indication.

The appeal is scheduled to commence Wednesday so not sure if TH request is in relation to that...would have thought it would be requested same day appeal starts, unless perhaps they need the two days TH to then go into suspension on Wed whilst the appeal is in progress (believe it can run for 10 days or so).

Only other reasons I can think of:

1. Exploration results - unlikely due to how close appeal is

2. Capital raising - would be surprised as they'd want to do this after a more definite outcome on appeal, ie if thrown out they would be hoping for a CR at a higher price (unless they was to get their 'friends' set at a lower price)

3. Environmental groups withdrawing their appeal or settling - wouldn't be surprised if they did this last minute. Probably the more likely of the three.
