If the burn is going to be reduced by 30% and they get 6Mill then do they get about 18 months max out of that?
Will this bridge to a Renewable Energy Fund grant? I remember reading CFCL's application (http://www.cfcl.com.au/Assets/Files/20120120_CEFC_CFCL-submission.pdf) but I haven't seen DYESOLs. Do they qualify?
This fund is scheduled to start operating 2013-14 (http://www.cleanenergyfuture.gov.au/clean-energy-finance-corporation-experts-appointed/ second last sentence) so the 6Mill will get them there assuming insufficient cash from other sources materialises before then.
Disruptive tech is not digging ore. Wrapping the worlds buildings in power skin is not as simple as clicking your fingers. I'm in for the long haul because commercialising this sort of tech is long and hard and in the real world, DYE has done very well, not least because they still exist. When the first hallmark building is opened, beautifully clad in DYE-skin roof and glass, I will crack some champagne and not just because I've become adequately wealthy.
If you think going from 80 to 20 is a jolt, strap in people.
