Agreed sekrub, it would seem strange (if not unethical) to raise capital without releasing material news first, should it be on hand. Particularly good news, which would mean ease of accessing capital and an issuance at a higher price.....
In any event I figure at least the terms of the merger would need to be finalized prior to them passing the can around. As you were.
