I find it hard to accept that there wasn't blatant manipulation...

    I find it hard to accept that there wasn't blatant manipulation of the share price in the days prior to the trading halt in order to make this deal seem attractive. The previous statement from the company seemed very positive and gave the impression that they were well on the way to receiving bank funding going forward. Then we had a dramatic drop in the share price. I watched daily and their seemed to be large sell orders just above the lowest offer to our downward pressure on the price. This obviously worked and the price dropped accordingly.

    We are now told that the deal was at a 7.5% premium to the 5 day VWAP. But look at the chard and see how unrepresentative this 5 day VWAP was:

    The volumes during that period were utterly negligible in the historical context, yet they are trying to convey that the 5 day period was somehow representative of VXR's trading.

    Something sucks.
