trading halt, page-14

re: whats up with this trading halt? unless it's a completely new adventure say looking for oil in Glen Waverly, maybe it's a j/v of some sort - like merging MRC/ABK oh, no, that would be a disaster - but a very sensible move would be to j/v their South African projects with a bigger partner, that would be a good move and generate some momentum. A takeover out of the blue? hardly likely and imagine the sell-out price, I think Caruso's got too much of an interest here just to dump MRC at rock bottom prices. On the other hand, this latest halt does come as a surprise, and surprises aren't usually brilliant for punters...... fingers crossed on this one.
