Having followed VDM for a long time and taking in all of the theories on HC from today here is my guess...

Kony's theory:
Sino to purchase non-core asset (Como) who is working with Sino on the mill lift project. Como is a shining light of the VDM group with a well run team and stayed external to the "VDM" name, hence maintained its reputation, and profit. VDM will gain more cash to ensure executive bonuses for another year, will lose a non-core asset, Sino will gain the smarts and the capability in house to continue their operations, unaffected by vdm uncertainty, purchasing Como at fire sale prices
