Request for Trading Halt

Uranex Limited (“Uranex”) (ASX: UNX) requests that a trading halt be granted by the Australian Securities Exchange (“ASX”) with respect to its ordinary shares.

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 3.1 Uranex advises that:

Uranex seeks the trading halt pending an announcement to be made to the market regarding the issue of a mining tenement in Tanzania that indicatively contains graphite mineralisation;

Uranex requests the trading halt end on the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on 12 March 2012 or when an anticipated announcement is released to the market; and

Uranex is not aware of any other reason why the voluntary suspension should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the voluntary suspension.
