Imho that's being pretty speculative by you. If anything the clearance to sell MRP takes pressure off them to try to fast track the sale of Genesis.
Would make sense for Genesis to divest Kupe though, and at the right price a larger stake in it might be good for NZOG, but I'd suspect another 10 to 15% would be all a company the size of NZOG could prudently take without becoming too much of a one trick pony. Can't however see Genesis divesting without some sort of public sales process.
I will stick with the broader market speculation that the halt is about Tunisia. a decision on field development there would definitely warrant a halt, and further a decision is due.
