MACQUARIE AIRPORTS (MAp) - REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT
On behalf of MAp, we request a trading halt in the securities of MAp
from the commencement of trading today.
In accordance with listing rule 17.1, we advise:
a) That MAp wishes to request a trading halt because of certain
developments in respect of its acquisition of an interest in Rome
Airport and it not yet being in a position to make an announcement;
b) MAp wishes the trading halt to last until such time as it is in a
position to make an announcement to the market concerning the Rome
acquisition which is expected to be on Monday, 2 December 2002. In
any event, the trading halt will not last past the commencement of
trading on Tuesday, 3 December 2002
