I'm inclined to think that they missed their numbers. The XMAS strength in the USA was mainly reflected in:
1)
post-Christmas sales; and
2)
pre-Christmas discounting.
On both counts, I think that GLB missed the mark, particularly given the colder than previously anticipated Winter that the USA has experienced since December.
