It appears that the changes to the ALDP information on the Energy and Resources website give us the answer.

where previously it stated the program was to be resolved by the end of 2103, It now says "Successful projects will be announced following the signing of Funding Agreements".

This would seem to confirm the status of the program.

Any announcement would include media releases and press conferences. Until I see those scheduled, I am not getting excited. It will be next year at the earliest :)
